Malus domestica 'Ambrosia' is commonly referred to as Ambrosia Apple Tree. It is small tree that produces lightly scented white flowers that emerge from red buds. Leaves are dark green and turn yellow in fall. The fruits are showy red apples with a light green blush and white flesh. The apples are sweet and tender, excellent for eating raw and in fresh salads. The apples are ready for picking in September and require a pollinator such as Granny Smith or CandyCrisp®.

Ambrosia Apple thrives in full sun in average to moist conditions. It should not be allowed to dry out. It is ideal as an accent and for an orchard for edible landscaping.
